WCS - Helps Fund Community Service Projects
Every Rotary club should periodically conduct true community needs assessments and identify the most deserving 3 to 5 service projects (small & large) and then make a basic project proposal for each - stating the true need, proposed action, beneficiaries, itemised cost, committee members, contact details etc., and then list these projects on the RI - World Community Service web site. WCS is a tool to help secure the necessary funds/items for worthy Rotary Club projects. View/ Click on - WCS PowerPoint Presentation

District Membership Seminar - Information + +
The District Membership Seminar was held as scheduled on 1st June, under very trying circumstances and was successfully completed at P.T. Garden's Hotel, Biyagama. 106 Rotarian's were in attendance.
Heavy continuing rains had in fact flooded the surrounding areas/ access ways and a 70 minutes delay in starting the Seminar was inevitable. All those Rotarian's who braced the bad weather and made their way to the venue must be lauded for their keen interest and determination to be present.
The Membership Seminar provided a wealth of Rotary information to all those present and included many Q & A opportunities.
We thank the organising Rotary Club of Biyagama, for the sumptuous food & fellowship provided. Cost of Registration was Rs.900/- each.

Proposed New Rotary District 3220 Website
With the current communication technology our requirement of having a presentable and professional web solution is a must. Therefore, with reference to our presentation, which we had at the PETS & SETS in Habarana, it may be best to work with a New Zealand based e-solution company. This website is a user-friendly content management system which allows you to present different content to different visitors, depending on which segment of the database the visitor belongs to. You don’t need to be a Web programmer, this means you will be able to edit the website and upload images whenever needed by yourself.
Some basic features of the WEB:
1. Unlimited server space.
2. Initial site designing, setting up and training.
3. Publishing and running newsletters automatically. Ex: Monthly news letter, Birthdays etc.
4. Subscribing and un-subscribing people to your newsletters.
5. User friendly content management – You will be able to change the content and images
6. Data center/ Site Center/ Delivery Center/ Message Center/ Statistic Center/ Image Center/ Dialog Center.
